MEET THE TEAM
John C. Sanchez, MSTax, CLTC is the President of Logos Brokerage Resources, LLC., a nationally licensed insurance brokerage and financial services firm founded in 2012.
John brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, experinced as a financial advisor, long-term care planner, investment manager, and accountant. His career began with the IRS Criminal Investigation Division, followed by roles in public and corporate accounting, where he advanced to Controller and Finance Manager for Coca-Cola. During this period, John earned his Master of Science degree in Taxation.
In 1998, John transitioned into the financial services sector as an investment manager with UBS and Morgan Stanley. In 2004, he founded his own wealth management firm, which evolved into Logos Brokerage. Today, Logos Brokerage is a fully licensed national insurance and financial services brokerage, advising families and businesses on sophisticated and tax-efficient financial planning strategies. John collaborates with his clients' financial advisors, CPAs, and estate planning attorneys to build, optimize, protect, and transfer their hard-earned assets. His strategies include generating guaranteed tax-free lifetime income in retirement, providing peace of mind for those concerned about outliving their income.
Recognizing the growing importance of extended care planning, John obtained his CLTC designation to become a long-term care specialist. He is dedicated to preparing clients aged 50 and older for the financial, emotional, and physical challenges of potential long-term care events. John's comprehensive plans ensure his clients and their families are well-equipped to handle these situations.
Jennifer Shaffer, Vice-President of Life Insurance Sales and Marketing
Jennifer is a licensed life insurance producer and joined Logos Brokerage Resources in 2019. She specializes in term, disability, living benefits, and final expense insurance. From Jen’s unfortunate personal experience, she believes in the importance of all individuals having life insurance to protect them and their families from life's unexpected events. Jen earned her B.A. in English from West Chester University in West Chester, PA, and has brought dedication and positive results to each of the companies she’s worked for. Prior to joining Logos, she was the Administrative Director at a home health care agency where she was also a certified investigator and job coach as well as being certified in Quality Management. Her employment background also includes marketing for a semiconductor company and working as a book editor for a publisher. She previously served as president of her local Toastmasters club. Jennifer is an avid writer and is a published author of short stories. She has been nearly a life-long resident of Pennsylvania except for six years on the beautiful west coast of Florida. She has two grown sons.

Steve’s passion lies in building insurance programs that protect families against monetary loss, believing that without love, there would be no need for insurance. Although Steve has received numerous awards for his service in the insurance industry, it is the relationships he has built that he values most.
Steve believes his business is about investing in you—listening, understanding what matters most, and designing a program that fits the legacy you wish to create. This is what you can expect from us: attention to detail, putting the right program in place with a budget that works for you. As a father of four girls and a grandfather of eight, alongside his wife Naomi, he understands the generational needs of creating a legacy.
